My conversation with Jay this morning:
Jay: Should we let girls get in the car first and out of the car first?
Me: Yes, that's good manners to let girl's go first. When you are grown up you should open doors for girls, stand up when they walk in a room, stand up when they stand up, and help them sit down at the table. Boys should take care good care of girls.
Jay: Cool. I could be nice to the beautiful girls.
Me: You need to be nice to the ugly girls too. (Yes, I know. I could have worded that a little bit better, but he got the idea.)
Jay: Okay.
