Toes

I am usually very conservative about the color of my toe nail polish in the summer.  But . . . 

I took a friend for pedicures to celebrate her birthday.  I had picked out a very beautiful pink color for myself.  At the very last moment when she was about to brush the first stroke of polish on my toes, I said, "Wait!  Paint them blue!"  And them she added cute little flowers too.

They make me smile every time I look at them.  I may never go back to pink again.
